A couple of tracks later…

I grew up in Kansas, a place that taught me ambition is rarely loud, to lead with generosity, and make room for people along the way. I learned to take ideas seriously, to show up fully, and to trust the pull toward something bigger.

California changed the scale of what felt possible. I got married in Healdsburg, fell more in love with wine, and slowly began to understand that a bottle could hold more than what was inside it. It could mark a place, a season, a table, a night you remember years later.

That idea eventually became Metronome.

Now based in Paso Robles, I’m making traditional method sparkling wine with patience, restraint, and a deep respect for time. Bright, expressive fruit comes first, with time and lees aging adding depth rather than taking over. The goal is wine that feels thoughtful without feeling precious. Bottles made to open, share, and enjoy without waiting for a special occasion.

What started as a couple of tracks is slowly becoming a whole album.
